I came across this video on Facebook earlier today. Another like-minded friend of mine posted it. While I enjoy writing about topics that I care a lot about, I think this video says everything it needs to.
I’ll only muddy it up by saying anything other than providing a brief synopsis:
This video will inform you to just how fucked up the entire prison system is in America. Prisons are built to make rich people more rich in today’s America. The militarization of our police is another limb of the same tree, but more on that later.
If you’re going to play this video, do yourself a favor and watch the entire thing. It’s only about ten minutes long.

Note: A lot of videos have been dissappearing from YouTube in the last several months. Many items I had saved in various playlists have been taken down completely and I can’t seem to find these videos anywhere else on the web. However, if you like to document and catalogue information as I do, then I highly recommend a site called KeepVid for videos that you think may get taken down. Best of luck.
